03/06/2008 Meeting notes:

2008 rules were handed out. Reviewed changes voted on at Banquet.  Updated rules are attached.

MADCRA membership due May 1st

*Update to bylaws made (vote made at meeting by all MADCRA members in attendance): 

1.  MADCRA Membership required for all races at home tracks except specials.  Grace period of 2 nights at $5.00 extra per night.  Updated by-laws are attached.  Need to join MADCRA in order to run at Boone or Marshalltown .

2.  Home tracks defined at Marshalltown and Boone and they do not need to meet the following requirement…in order to receive MADCRA points, there needs to be 10 cars racing and 5 have to be MADCRA members.  Of the 10 cars, they all need to be classic body style, no mod lites.

TUSA Regional Points were discussed.  This topic is on hold pending further review.

Safety items are going to be teched in 2008.  This includes fire suits, helmets (95 higher), seat belts (3 years), shoes, gloves.  Impact has a trade deal for old seat belts.
